Ralston High School Teen CERT

Ralston High School is located at
8900 Park Drive in Ralston, Nebraska. The school
began the Teen CERT program in January 2011. Faculty from the school
met with members of Eastern Nebraska and decided to offer the program at
the high school. They received approval from the school officials and
began planning curriculum. The class was offered for credit during the
second acdemic semester of 2011. The basic 20 hour class was expanded to
fill the requirements of an 80 minute daily class. Many guest lecturers
were included to share professional experiences as well as educational requirements
for their profession.
Instruction is provided by Deb Ziegler, RN and several members of the
Eastern Nebraska CERT Public Education Team.
